Who we are
m-lab GmbH is a German biotech company with ties to some highly regarded research institutions, initially dedicated to the development of Lateral Flow Assays for POC diagnosis of eye diseases, including glaucoma, antibody-based treatments and reader software development, but we are presently expanding our research interests to include other targets and other pathologies.
Our product is built on more than 10 years of research at the University of Mainz.
What we offer

- Collaboration with potential partners in the development of POC tests based on our tear collection and strip application system. Tears can be a useful body fluid for the evaluation of antibodies, antigens and biomarkers. Their collection is non-invasive and, unlike serum or blood, require no preparation prior to their application to the lateral flow strip
- Contract development for other biomarkers of disease besides antibodies, that may be incorporated into our multiplex lateral flow system

- Our laboratories are fully equipped for the development of Lateral Flow Assays, including spotting, striping and spraying equipment, a dry room and signal analysis soft- and hardware
